Krita in Use (Part 2 of 2)

This is a follow up to our first post on Krita Brushes Galore My test run of Krita focused on a still life to get a feel for the different brushes.  Most of my work uses the Charcoal brush and a heavy use of the blending brushes to get the shading just right. One of my favorite features is the list of colors that are already in your image to the right of the color selector, this makes it easy to keep yourself confined to a given set of colors. I accidentally turned on the Wrap mode that allows your brushes to wrap from one edit to another similar to the way the ship moves in Asteroids. Turning any brush into an eraser is a handy trick but after a while I kept reaching for the undo button from the menus. Final Result Animation Without reading any documentation I jumped right into the animation section of Krita and through sheer trial and error I managed to whip up something quick.
